Square Pole Technology FXL-70

FXL magnetic chucks with pole type 70 are designed for secure clamping of large steel workpieces with material thicknesses starting from approximately 15 mm. FXL-70 magnetic systems are suitable for workpieces from approximately 150×150 mm.
FXL-70 magnetic chucks are equipped with 70×70 mm square poles that generate a magnetic field penetrating approximately 18 mm into the workpiece. This makes the system especially suitable for large steel components and heavy metal workpieces.
FXL-70 square pole technology provides reliable clamping even when workpieces have uneven surfaces or air gaps. The excellent air gap behavior allows safe fixation of irregular and uneven steel components during machining operations.
Pole extensions with increased stroke can also be used on 70 mm poles for height compensation and secure positioning of complex workpieces.
The nominal holding force of the FXL-70 magnetic system is a powerful 160 N/cm² or 7.8 kN per pole. This ensures stable fixation during milling, grinding, drilling, and heavy-duty metalworking applications.
