Welding Robotization in Ukraine: From Idea to Launch — KVERB and CLOOS Polska at MPF 2026

Welding process automation in the Ukrainian industry has shifted from the category of strategic perspectives to the category of tangible production solutions. Machinery manufacturing enterprises, metal structure producers, agricultural sector companies, and construction equipment manufacturers all face the same set of challenges: a shortage of qualified welders, rising requirements for weld quality, and the need to scale up volumes without a proportional increase in costs.

Robotic welding solves these tasks systematically — and the demand for such solutions in Ukraine is steadily growing.

The labor market for welding specialties is shrinking: a skilled welder has become a scarce resource, and the dependence of production outcomes on the human factor has become a source of systemic risk for quality and deadlines. In parallel, customer requirements are rising: enterprises working for export or supplying products to segments with strict standards — automotive, heavy machinery, and rolling stock manufacturing — are required to document weld parameters and prove the reproducibility of results. Robotic welding systems address both problems simultaneously: a consistent weld on every single part, increased line throughput, and documented quality that opens doors to demanding customers and international certification.

At MPF 2026, the KVERB team at stands H09/H10 will be reinforced by representatives from CLOOS Polska — an engineering company with over thirty years of experience in designing and building turnkey robotic welding systems. This means that booth visitors get both KVERB's practical experience in working with Ukrainian manufacturing enterprises and the deep technical expertise of a company that implements welding automation systems for the most demanding sectors of European industry all in one place.

CLOOS Polska systems operate in machinery manufacturing, the automotive industry, agricultural equipment production, construction machinery, rolling stock, and heavy steel structures. The range of implemented solutions spans from compact automated cells for serial parts to large-scale complexes for structures weighing over 20 tons. Each system is designed for a specific production task: the type and geometry of products, batch size, existing infrastructure, and quality requirements — all of these determine the system's architecture as early as the technical specification stage. This is exactly what the journey from idea to launch looks like in practice.

The presence of CLOOS Polska at the KVERB stands is not just a demonstration format. Production managers, technical directors, and chief welders will be able to discuss the specific parameters of their own enterprises with engineers: which products, what batch sizes, what infrastructure is available, and what the real payback horizon of the system is under Ukrainian conditions.

Welding robotization in Ukraine is no longer a question of feasibility. It is a question of what stage of implementation a specific enterprise is currently at and which steps lead to the result by the shortest path.

At MPF 2026, this conversation begins at stands H09/H10.
